Ayanna Gregory to present 'Daughter of the Struggle' at UD

1:19 p.m., Nov. 29, 2011--The University of Delaware Department of Black American Studies will present Ayanna Gregory and her one-woman show, "Daughter of the Struggle," at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, in Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts.
Gregory is a soul singer, educator and activist, and the daughter of celebrated comedian and human rights activist Dick Gregory.

The event will be free and open to the public. Tickets will be required and free tickets will be distributed beginning Wednesday, Feb. 1, at UD box offices.
Gregory's presentation is sponsored by the Department of Black American Studies, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Office of the President, the Center for Black Culture, the Division of Student Life and the Department of Theatre.
