Berger to discuss value of internships at UD PRSSA meeting
10:40 a.m., Feb. 10, 2012--Lauren Berger, CEO of Intern Queen Inc., will share her career expertise with students on Monday, Feb. 20, at 8 p.m., in the Trabant University Center Theatre.
The presentation is sponsored by UD's Public Relations Student Society of America.

Berger, who is recognized as one of Business Week's "Young Entrepreneurs 25 Under 25," works with thousands of employers to help connect students with internships and professional opportunities.
Berger held 15 internships during her four years at the University of Central Florida, earning her the nickname the "Intern Queen." She now shares her knowledge by mentoring young helping them both locate and succeed at their internships.
Berger released her first book, All Work, No Pay: Finding an Internship, Building Your Resume, Making Connections, and Gaining Job Experience, in January.
Berger plans to speak about her new book and give students advice on building their resume, finding internships and succeeding in the professional world.
All students and community members are welcome to attend. The doors will open at 7:30 p.m., and the event is free of charge. All attendees will be entered to win a copy of Berger's book and other prizes.
