'Apprentice' winner Randal Pinkett will speak at UD
8:54 a.m., Feb. 15, 2012--Randal Pinkett, the first African American winner of the reality show The Apprentice, will speak at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, in Mitchell Hall on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.
The talk, which is presented by the University's Cultural Programming Advisory Board and is part of Black History Month: February and Beyond, is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

After winning The Apprentice, Pinkett served as an executive with Donald Trump's Trump Entertainment Resorts in Atlantic City, N.J.
He is co-founder, chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, a multimillion dollar management, technology and policy consulting firm based in Newark, N.J.
Pinkett is the author of the book Black Faces in White Places: 10 Game Changing Strategies to Achieve Success and Find Greatness.
In the book, he discusses navigating the work place and four dimensions of the contemporary black experience -- identity, society, meritocracy and opportunity.
A book signing will follow the presentation.
