WWE's SmackDown world tour comes to The Bob

11:35 a.m., April 18, 2012--WWE will bring its SmackDown world tour to UD's Bob Carpenter Center at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 12. 

Tickets are on sale now, and a special ticket rate of $10 is available for current UD students. The special offer is available only at UD box offices, there is a limit of two tickets per person and students must have a valid UD ID.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

The main event on May 12 will feature Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Christian in a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Also featured will be Randy Orton vs. Kane.  Scheduled to appear are several SmackDown superstars, including the Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, the Great Khali and Beth Phoenix.
