Course Logistics

Texts:
 All texts will be available electronically either via the web or via the University of Delaware electronic databases. Those who do not have it already will need to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader on the computer they will be using for the course. Students who will be using a computer outside of the UD network (eg., home computers using AOL or Comcast) will need to access the network by authenticating themselves through the web proxy.
Prerequisites:
Students are expected to be able to send and receive email including attachments. All students will be expected to read and reply to email regularly between class meetings. Interaction will take place within UD MyCourses and an active UDelnet address is required. Prior to the first meeting, students should have an active UDelNet account. If necessary, visit www.udel.edu/network to set up your account.
Requirements and grading:
  • Weekly participation in online class discussions and compilations. (20%)
  • Weekly contributions to wiki on specific chosen topics (weeks 2, 3, 4) (20% each week)
  • Final reflection on class topics and applicability to future work experiences. (20%)
