  1. Introductions -- Attending the meeting were: (DO) Olivia Spencer, Joyce Perry, Craig Miller; (HS) Charleen Forba-Mayer, Doug Zook; (MS) Karen Sandri; (AGIS) Rebecca Kessinger, Carol Bove, Denise Schrum; (PLE) Debbie Pye, Leighanna Moran, Marie DiGiulio; (UD) Pat Sine.

  2. Duties of ITLTs -- Olivia referred to the email she had circulated earlier.

  3. Emphasis on communication: ideas and brainstorming -- Pat
    • Lots of ideas were exchanged. This is a summary
    • Face-to-face meetings: faculty meetings in HS, house meetings in AGIS on an as needed basis; team leader meetings in AGIS; Marketplace Mtgs in AGIS (teacher driven)
    • Suggestion was made to get at least 1 minute in each meeting to remind folks of the opportunities ITLTs can provide.
    • It was recommended that real examples be used rather than speaking in generalities.
    • Several people mentioned the need to promote the help desk to take care of tech problems. Leighanna will forward the wording that is used on a sign at PLE.
    • Leighanna forwarded a copy of the brochure that was produced at PLE. Karen talked about a handout that was used at FEMS called "No problem is too small."
    • Update: Leigh Anna created a new "TechFlyer" based on our discussion.
    • Update: Charleen created a new HS ITLT flyer based on our discussion.

  4. Educator.com -- Craig and Joyce
    • Joyce announced that there were 24 free subscriptions to Educator.com available. This is a service that allows teachers to post materials for students and for students to submit assignments online.

  5. Teacherweb.com -- Joyce
    • The district has purchased 70 webs for use by teachers in the district. Contact Joyce for a password.

  6. TechMentoring -- Joyce
  7. Meeting schedule for rest of year. All meetings will be held in the district office from 3:45 to 5:15 unless otherwise announced.
