  • One month commitment

  • One teacher from each school for Joyce and Craig (total 8 per month)

  • Start with a 1 hour meeting with Joyce or Craig

  • Teacher requests for assistance and active suggestions from Craig and Joyce

  • Examples of Tasks: (from Joyce's list)

    • Work with teachers one on one or within department/team to develop instructional materials (Can be in staff development lab – or own school). We have some hardware/software or equipment that may not be available in every building that can be used, shared, checked out. You can develop standalone presentations with Flash, Director and/or Authorware that will run on any computer without the original program that created the module.

    • Help departments or grade levels create companion web pages for instruction. For example,Voyage of the Mimi.

    • Help teachers and or staff/administration one on one with software application training or learning to use technology products.

    • Assisting teachers modify or develop a lesson plan to integrate technology – for example, adding digital video to a PowerPoint presentation or interactive instructional module

    • Assisting resource room teachers use multimedia in a lesson to meet the needs of diverse learners for example- Geometry Lesson as PowerPoint Presentation, Interactive Math Modules with built in help.

    • Assist teachers and staff with productivity tools, such as using MS Office templates or setting up a database to keep track of information, etc.

    • Team teach a particular lesson or class in the classroom

    • Assist teachers develop instructional modules or standalone interactive technology

    • Assist teachers develop a basic web page for classroom resources and assignments
    • Assist teachers with particular programs for personal productivity or classroom application, such as Access or Adobe Illustrator.
    • Help teachers integrate some of the NETS*S - National Educational Technology Standards for Students lesson plans into the curriculum

    • Help teachers/administrators develop skills for NETS*T for Teachers and NETS*A for Administrators
