  1. Introductions

  2. Duties of ITLTs -- Olivia
    • Olivia emphasized several of the key principles of the ITLT project
      • all ITLTs can apply for 3hrs/week to be paid by stipend. This time is an average so hours not used one week can be used in future weeks.
      • Hours can be used for helping others or for increasing personal technology skills.
      • It is very important to file hours monthly using MyLearningPlan.com. If there are questions, the resident expert is Karen Norris.
      • ITLTs can use released time for related duties provided the need can be justified to Olivia and the building principal prior to being used.
    • Last year, teachers were paid stipends for training. This year that money is still available with prior approval from Olivia. However, because of current staffing at the HS, HS teachers will be given priority for these funds.

  3. Meeting schedules for year; changes for 2003-2004 -- Pat
    • There will be 6 meetings this school year with the next meeting set for November 18, 3:45 to 5:15pm

  4. Adopt-a-Teacher becomes TechMentoring -- Joyce
    • Joyce will be continuing this program but Craig will be taking a bit of a break while he is acting district Tech Coordinator. Each month, ITLTs are asked to submit the name of an individual from their schools to particpate in the coming month. This is the 4th question on the monthly report.

  5. NetDay Speak Up Day -- October 29 -- Pat
    • This is an opportunity for students to contribute to the national educational technology plan. You'll need to register your school ahead of time. The questions will be viewable on Saturday, October 25. Then students will be able to enter answers to the questions Monday, Oct 27 through Friday, October 31.
  6. Brainstorming 2003
    • How has your school most benefited by the ITLT program over the past 2 years? How will you continue or enhance that practice?
    • What single thing that the ITLTs could provide would most benefit your school?
    • What specific thing or things can Joyce and Craig do in your building to enhance the goals of the ITLT project?
    • The results of the brainstorming can be seen here.
