UD Talent Link launching April 1

Human Resources will be launching UD Talent Link on April 1, 2019. The new talent acquisition system will streamline and simplify the entire recruitment cycle for both internal and external users, while helping UD better attract talent. Training for department administrators (HR liaisons) is in progress, and additional resources will be available this week for the rest of the campus. As a reminder, there is an email address, AskTalentLink@udel.edu, where you can direct any questions you have. Learn more about Talent Link.

Performance appraisals

Completed performance appraisals are due March 31. For more information and to get started, review the Performance Management Overview. Employee development resources are available in ConnectingU on the HR ATLAS tab under Employee Relations & Performance.

TIAA counseling sessions

Did you know that TIAA financial consultants are on site regularly to offer one-on-one advice? In addition to regular counseling sessions held at the Perkins and STAR buildings, TIAA will begin offering sessions at the Trabant University Center beginning Monday, April 22, 2019. Register for the session and location most convenient for you.

Human Resources will be holding retirement information sessions for faculty to discuss retirement planning and the rule of 80 retirement criteria. No registration is required.

With these three needs aligned, it is more likely that your development goals will be supported and your efforts will have a positive impact on many levels.

Interest meetings for Couch to 5K scheduled

The UD Employees’ Couch to 5K, a nine-week training program for beginner runners, returns this spring. Interest meetings will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at the Tower at STAR, room 213, and Thursday, March 28 in the Carpenter Sports Building conference room. Learn more.
