Parental Leave Policy
Human Resources has enhanced the University’s parental leave program. Effective July 1, 2019, eligible benefited employees will be entitled to eight weeks of paid leave upon the birth of their child or adoption of a child age six (6) or younger. Learn more.
No change in UD parking fees for 2019-20
University of Delaware Parking Services is maintaining fees for campus parking at the current rate for the 2019-20 academic year. There will be no cost increase for permits or for events and hourly parking rates.

Del Tech lottery
Human Resources is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Tuition Waiver Exchange Program lottery with Delaware Technical Community College. Eligible employees may enter for a chance to participate in the program, which waives the fall and spring tuition for one dependent enrolled on a full-time basis. Submit the lottery application by Aug. 6.

Opportunities to meet students seeking employment
If your department is in need of student workers for the 2019-2020 academic year, you are invited to promote job opportunities at the UD Involvement Fair on The Green, from 1-4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26. The Career Center has partnered with the University Student Centers to provide up to 70 UD departments and offices with table space and the opportunity to interact with hundreds of students seeking employment on campus.
