Help celebrate UD’s commitment to wellbeing

Join the Campus Coalition for Wellbeing and Mental Health on Thursday, Oct. 13, to celebrate the University of Delaware’s adoption of the Okanagan Charter as we join the United States Health Promoting Campus Network.

Embracing a health-and-wellbeing mindset across the University is a cause everyone on campus shares.  Positioning faculty and staff to get involved is powerful in mobilizing and addressing health and wellbeing issues on the campus – whether they be stress and anxiety in colleagues and students or  health disparities, such as food and housing security.  Everyone at UD must be involved  to facilitate community change.

On Oct. 13, a full schedule of events including light refreshments, yoga, chair massage, interactive wellbeing stations and a group walk are planned from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m on The Green by Warner Hall. Learn more and RSVP

Tuition Exchange Program applications open

Faculty and staff applications for the Tuition Exchange Program’s (TEP) 2023-24 academic year scholarships are open. Those interested in applying should do so through the Educational Benefits webform by Oct. 26, 2022. Learn more.

JED-I Master Training

Human Resources is excited to roll out JED-I Master Training, an in-depth understanding of how to process a JED. To become a JED-I Master, you must review the  JED-I Manual  and complete a six course certificate program in ConnectingU.  HR will now require the JED-I Master Training for UD employees who are new to submitting JEDs.  Learn more and enroll.
