Vacation leave accrual limits
Effective July 1, 2020, the vacation accrual limits outlined in the Vacation Accrual and Use Policy have been temporarily suspended through Dec. 31, 2021. Eligible employees will be permitted to carry over vacation leave in excess of the limits outlined in the policy. Any excess vacation will not be forfeited until Jan. 1, 2022.
Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC) tuition waiver exchange
Human Resources is now accepting applications for the DTCC waiver exchange lottery. For those selected, the program waives the fall and spring tuition for one dependent that is enrolled on a full-time basis in a degree-granting program at DTCC. The application deadline is Aug. 5.
Coming soon: new time and attendance system
An enhanced time and attendance program called UD WorkForce will roll out in August, replacing UDTime. One key new feature is the introduction of a simplified process for Time-Off Requests (TORs). TORs will replace the existing Request for Leave form and provide the ability for approval via email. Learn more.

UD Talent Share
The UD Talent Share Program is still going strong. The program reassigns employees who have the capacity to assist in areas where there are staffing gaps while exemplifying UD’s collaborative spirit.
