Campus Wi-Fi connectivity
UD Information Technologies is working to address eduroam Wi-Fi connectivity issues on campus. All faculty and staff must take steps to re-enroll in UD's Wi-Fi network before Monday, Oct. 21, to stay connected to eduroam. Instructions and help options are available on UDIT’s website.
Coming soon: Flexible Spending Account enrollment
Open enrollment for 2020 Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) will run Nov. 4 through Nov. 18. Eligible employees will be able to set aside pre-tax dollars to cover out-of-pocket health care and dependent care expenses. Prior participants must re-enroll. Plan ahead by considering eligible expenses.
Tuition exchange deadline approaching
Those interested in applying for the Tuition Exchange Program (TEP) 2020-21 academic year scholarships should do so by Oct. 23. TEP is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for dependents of eligible faculty and staff to enroll at member schools nationwide. Learn more.

Employee appreciation basketball game discounts
Cheer on the Delaware Women’s Basketball team at their home opener against Maine on Friday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. Discounted tickets start at $5 for UD employees and their families. Tech Open House
Attend the Tech Open House on Oct. 30 and discover how technology can help you teach, learn and succeed at UD. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Trabant Multipurpose Rooms. Speak with IT service staff and other UD units about the services they offer and watch demonstrations of new tools and services. Enjoy food, prizes and conversation. Learn more and register.
New safety, security and insurance travel partners
UD is partnering with GeoBlue and Drum Cussac to provide access to quality healthcare, safety and security services for any UD international travel for all faculty, staff and students. Employee Education Open House
Discover how to maximize your education opportunities at UD—attend the UD Employee Education Open House on Wed., Nov. 13 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Trabant University Center. Learn how to use your UD education benefits to:
- Enroll in UD credit classes or professional development programs
- Sign up for free career and educational advisement
- Take advantage of personal and professional enrichment
Light lunch refreshments will be available, and attendees will be eligible for prize raffles. Learn more and RSVP.
TIAA guidance
TIAA consultants are on campus regularly to offer one-on-one advice. Counseling sessions are offered at Perkins, Trabant and the Tower at STAR. Register for a counseling session. Additionally, TIAA offers webinars on a variety of topics such as managing income and debt, saving for your retirement, and transitioning to retirement. Reserve your spot.

Homecoming
Celebrate and show your Blue Hen spirit at UD’s Homecoming events. Registration is still open for the Blue Hens Homecoming 5K taking place on Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m. Hosted by the Campus Wellbeing Collaborative, the run will start and finish at Delaware Stadium. Register and learn more. On Oct. 26, the Fightin' Blue Hens take on the Richmond Spiders in Delaware Stadium, with kick-0ff at 1 p.m. Before the game, visit the Fan Zone for family fun, music and giveaways. Additionally, a tailgate especially for UD faculty, staff and their families will be set up in the Hospitality Village (the official tailgating area near the Bob Carpenter Center), with food, a cash bar and children’s activities. Tailgate space is limited; please register.
Wellness to Work Veterans Health and Career Fair
The inaugural Wellness to Work Veterans Health and Career Fair will be held Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Tower at STAR. Registration is available for Veterans interested in attending.
