Holiday schedule
The University’s holiday break begins for faculty and staff on Dec. 24. University offices will generally be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 1, reopening on Jan. 2. Learn more about adjusted hours and special activities at campus facilities and offices during winter break.
TIAA contract transition seminars

Pay stub view changes for 2020
Payroll will be introducing changes to the online pay stub view beginning with paychecks issued after Jan. 1, 2020. These changes were introduced in an effort to simplify the breakdown of University benefit costs by showing the University and Employee Paid portions for each benefit (medical, dental, etc). Learn more. Also, coming in fall 2020, employees will be able to view leave balances within their pay stub as well.

Employees can access discounted tickets up to $5 off for Men’s Basketball vs. UNCW on Dec. 28, Women’s Basketball vs. George Mason on Dec. 29 and Men’s Basketball vs. Charleston on Dec. 30. Diabetes Care and Prevention Open House
UD Health will host a Diabetes Care and Prevention Open House on Jan. 9 from 4-7 p.m. at the Tower at STAR Audion. Learn more about the collaborative services UD Health Clinics provide for diabetes prevention and management. Sign up to attend. The event will offer:
- preventative screenings
- consultations with health coaches
- tours of the UD Health STAR Tower
- opportunities to learn about the innovative diabetes research being conducted
- a panel discussion about the many UD Health Clinics that work in collaboration to offer comprehensive care
- information on how to get involved in the PreventT2 lifestyle change program, a program of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
- a dessert demonstration by Chef Dana Herbert, owner of Desserts by Dana and “Cake Boss” winner.
