Philadelphia International Airport (PHL): Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest major airport.  Located seven (7) miles from downtown Philadelphia, is a 45-minute drive from the University of Delaware’s Newark, DE campus.   

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI): Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is a 75-minute drive from the University of Delaware’s Newark, DE campus.

Driving Directions to the University of Delaware's Morris Library  

From the north: Take I-95 South to Delaware Exit 1-B — Route 896 North, which becomes South College Avenue at the intersection of Route 4. Continue straight on South College Avenue for approx. two miles, past such landmarks as the Bob Carpenter/Sports Convocation Center, Delaware Stadium, and the Delaware Field House. Continue going straight through the intersection of South College Avenue and Park Place until you reach the Visitors Center and the entrance to Visitors Parking Lot #41 on your left. The Morris Library is directly across from Visitors Parking Lot #41 on South College Avenue. 

From the south: Take I-95 North to Delaware Exit 1 — Route 896 North, which becomes South College Avenue at the intersection of Route 4. Continue straight on South College Avenue for approx. two miles, past such landmarks as the Bob Carpenter/Sports Convocation Center, Delaware Stadium, and the Delaware Field House. The Visitors Center and entrance to Visitors Parking Lot #41 will be on your left. The Morris Library is directly across from Visitors Parking Lot #41 on South College Avenue. 

From the west: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Route 283 South. Continue on Route 283 South, which becomes Route 30 East outside of Lancaster, to Route 896 South. As you reach campus and cross the railroad tracks, immediately turn left onto Delaware Avenue and right (at the second traffic light) onto South College Avenue. Continue straight on South College Avenue to Visitors Parking Lot #41. Turn right into Visitors Parking Lot #41 (adjacent to the Visitors Center). The Morris Library is directly across from Visitors Parking Lot #41 on South College Avenue. 

Driving Directions to the UD Marriott and Clayton Conference Center 

From the north: Take I-95 South to Delaware Exit 1-B — Route 896 North, which becomes South College Avenue at the intersection of Route 4. Continue straight on South College Avenue for approx. two and a half miles, past such landmarks as the Bob Carpenter/Sports Convocation Center, the Delaware Stadium, and through the main University of Delaware campus.  Take a left onto Main Street, then the next right onto 896 North.  The UD Marriott and Clayton Conference Center will be on your right at the bottom of the hill. 

From the south: Take I-95 North to Delaware Exit 1 — Route 896 North, which becomes South College Avenue at the intersection of Route 4. Continue straight on South College Avenue for approx. two and a half miles, past such landmarks as the Bob Carpenter/Sports Convocation Center, the Delaware Stadium, and t and through the main University of Delaware campus.  Take a left onto Main Street, then the next right onto 896 North.  The UD Marriott and Clayton Conference Center will be on your right at the bottom of the hill. 

From the west: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Route 283 South. Continue on Route 283 South, which becomes Route 30 East outside of Lancaster, to Route 896 South. The UD Marriott and Clayton Conference Center will be on your left after you cross the Pennsylvania state line and enter Newark.
