IT Support Center

First week report

Over 1,750 people contacted the IT Support Center (ITSC) during 1743 Welcome Days and the first week of the school year. On Monday, Aug. 29, over 400 people called the ITSC, and over 350 called on the first day of classes, Tuesday, Aug. 30.

The vast majority of the calls came from students, as demonstrated by the top five topics people asked about: The University’s learning management systems (Sakai and Canvas) were the most frequent subjects of questions during this time period, followed by requests for help with passwords, network registration, parent/guardian services, and television/CATV.
