David Matushik, co-founder and CEO of Green Delaware Recycling, because he knows how sustainability can actually work
David Matushik, cofounder of Green Delaware Recycling, addresses green sustainability in today's economy, specializing in energy efficiency and environmental problem solving.
David Matushik is a 2005 graduate of the University of Delaware. Completing his BA in both Anthropology and Economics, he went on to start Green Delaware Recycling with a fellow student. GDR is a Newark-based recycling and consulting firm that works with businesses and organizations to help them implement and maintain programs dealing with recycling, energy efficiency and other areas of sustainability. Mr. Matushik was also selected to participate in the Environmental Leadership Program, a non-profit that trains emerging environmental leaders, and is now a Senior Fellow. In addition to recycling, his other interests include vegetable based biofuels and environmental education.Equipped with extensive experience in the demands of a growing green economy, personal communication and training, and the interactions with small businesses, David solves environmental problems at efficient and individual levels.
