Mark Fiegener, PhD
Dr. Mark Fiegener is a Project Officer at the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Dr. Fiegener manages the Survey of Earned Doctorates project, an annual survey that collects data on the education history, demographic characteristics, and postgraduation plans of research doctorate recipients from U.S. universities. Prior to joining the NSF in 2008, Dr. Fiegener held faculty positions at Oregon State University, the University of Washington–Tacoma, and James Madison University. He earned degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (PhD), the University of Washington (MBA), and the University of California at Santa Barbara (BA).
