How to apply

Applications should be submitted electronically online. The deadline for applications for the 2013-14 academic year is July 10, 2013.

Step by Step to becoming a Graduate Ambassador:

Step 1.  Program Description. Read the Ambassador Decription and fully understand the commitment of being a Graduate Ambassador.

• Have completed one full year of graduate study at UD
• Be sensitive to cultural and gender differences
• Possess strong communication skills and be comfortable speaking in front of a group
• Demonstrate a positive and encouraging attitude
• Have previous experience in leadership, mentoring and/or volunteering
• Possess a general knowledge of UD and be able to direct students toward resources to become academically and socially involved on campus

Step 2.  Application Process. Fill out the Application Online Form. Email a copy of your CV/Resume to GradStudentConnect@udel.edu.

To be considered for the position of Graduate Ambassador, the following application materials are required:

• CV/Resume

Step 3.  Notification Decision. Wait for an email notification from the Office of Graduate and Professional Education regarding application decision.

Step 4.  Orientation Announcement. Orientation for new Ambassadors will be announced by email.
