WHAT IS A PRIORITIES CONFERENCE?

A priorities conference is a participant-centric workshop that promotes the identification, refinement, documentation, dissemination and prioritization of recommendations for accelerating advancements in a given field.

The pre-workshop registration process requires each applicant to submit a personal statement.Workshop participants are selected from the cohort of registrants based on their personal statements and matched by topic areas to form working groups. During the workshop, participants work in their facilitated groups to identify, refine and document recommendations for advancing the field.

At the conclusion of the workshop, all participants review and score the entire set of workshop recommendations. The resulting set of prioritized recommendations is encapsulated in a disseminated workshop report which constitutes a roadmap for advancing the field.
