Professor Douglass Taber to Receive POCC Allan R. Day Award

Photo Professor Douglass TaberProfessor Douglass Taber has been notified that he will be the recipient of the 2011 POCC Allan R. Day Award. The award will be presented to him at the POCC meeting to be held on October 27, 2011 in Philadelphia where Professor Taber will be giving a 50 minute research seminar. This award, established in 1983 by the Philadelphia Organic Chemists' Club (POCC) in memory of Allan R. Day is given once a year in recognition of outstanding contributions to organic chemistry.
