These different outlooks
on drug and their abuse are also filtered more directly through the people
in our lives. One such group of people encompasses everyone who has
a situational position of respect in our lives. These are our parents,
our teachers, our employers; we did not choose who they would be, and yet
they are shaping our lives. They are respected because of how they
fill the role they were given. These people will usually use some
method of steering those in their care away from the use of drugs.
