Session Description

Capturing and editing digital video is an important skill for controlling how video is used in your class. Whether you are editing video to meet your presentation needs or working on a video project assignment, this session will give you the necessary understanding of the video capturing and editing process. Participants will complete a basic hands-on video exercise.
Session Duration and Availability
This is a 50-minute session. Check the calendar [link to session title] for availability and register online. This session is also available upon request by faculty for incorporation into their courses. Faculty are also encouraged to arrange individual consultations for project planning and technical assistance.
Prerequisites
No prerequisites for this session are necessary.
Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will understand:
- how to capture video
- how to edit video clips
- how to add music to their video
- how to save their movie to be able to view it and share it
