Psychology 201 Research Participation Requirement
Homepage
This document
is important for your successful and timely completion of Psychology 201.
Be sure that you are well familiar with it.
Every student enrolled in introductory
psychology must over the semester acquire detailed experience in psychological
laboratory experimentation. Although you will not be graded on this
research requirement, you will not receive your letter grade until the
requirement has been fulfilled. Specifically, failure to satisfy
the research requirement will lead to your receiving a grade of "I" (Incomplete)
which will not be changed until the requirement has been fulfilled.
Beware, incomplete work must be submitted within the first two weeks of
the following semester.
There are two
ways in which you can meet this requirement: (1) The
Readings Option or (2) The Research Option.
You must choose one or the other. You can see the details
of each option by clicking on the appropriate phrase in the preceding sentence.
Your final grade in this course is
independent of which option you choose. Your Psychology 201 instructor,
who will determine your final grade in this course, will have no idea as
to which option you take; that is completely up to you.
