Learning a different language has been a fascinating experience throughout my whole life. Just when I thought I knew enough of and about English, I realized how much I don't know about it. Writing . . . I have had a lot of practice in it but what about revising my writing? How about criticizing others' writing? This is a new language within English.

English 316 (the training course for Writing Fellows) has given me a new approach towards my own writing and knowing more about "The Essay" I feel better about putting ideas on paper and having confidence in the piece.

Also, writing has become an endless process for me; however, each stage gives me some satisfaction, and after I print each draft I hold it in my hands - just to feel this product of mine.

Discovering all of these things about myself, I don't want to teach or preach rules of writing; I want to look for similar interest in writing. I would like to hear about being satisfied with the products in their hands when others take the paper off the printer.
