People often
come up to me and ask, “Kevin, you’re so smart, handsome,
and well-groomed, so tell me: what makes a Writing Fellow?”
I tell them, “Well, my friend, it’s more than just being
ridiculously good-looking and having sound personal
hygiene. A Writing Fellow is a person who not only writes
stuff good and has good command of the inglish langwage and
grammar and, uh, stuff, but also is able to relate to other
students, who may not be as stunningly attractive as they
are, or maintain their high standards of personal
cleanliness.” Sometimes, people don’t ask me that
question—like, they’ll ask me if the bus we’re on goes to
Everett St.—but I tell them the same thing. It never
becomes not as true. But, I’m just dancing around the real
issue here. The fact of the matter is that Writing Fellows
rock. They rock hard. They rock in the manner that 1970’s
super-group Boston rocked; and that manner is
mega-ultra-hard. Sometimes, it may seem like they’re quiet
and stuff. But deep down inside, they are actually rocking
hard, like they’re a Van Halen or Gwar song stuck in your
head. So, if you need help writing stuff please contact
the Writing Fellows. We rock. |
