Spring break construction to close parts of Academy, Courtney streets
9:14 a.m., March 21, 2016--University of Delaware Facilities has announced that parts of Academy and Courtney streets near the Perkins Student Center parking garage will be closed for construction during spring break.
The work is required for placement of a gas main across the two streets, and it is expected the roads will be closed from the morning of March 28 through the evening of April 1.

A one-way detour around the parking garage will be in effect for Academy Street southbound traffic only, connecting to Courtney Street east of the work zone.
Also as part of the construction, Parking Lot 31 will be closed.
