Reviresco June run

UD ROTC cadets will run from New York City to Miami this month to raise awareness about veterans' affairs.

The purpose of the program was to provide an opportunity for students to learn about Capital One’s culture, explore career options and hone new skills.

Capital One representatives said they were impressed by the level of engagement and excitement the students brought with them to work each day, and that the students conducted themselves in the most professional manner and were eager to get as much out of the experience as they possibly could.

The interns had good things to say about their experience with Capital One

“The internship was an incredible experience, and I am confident it has prepared me well for my future. I enjoyed my time at Capital One and can see a future for myself there,” one UD intern said.

“The program was an excellent experience for me as an intern,” said another. “The exposure to senior leadership is unparalleled by comparison to similar programs, and the partnerships with other departments led to a ton of exposure that I otherwise would not have gained.”

“It was a great learning experience that I will encourage others to explore,” a third intern said.

Capital One was so impressed by the level of talent at UD that the company is opening a summer retail management development program to 10 students.

This program is open to all majors. Successful applicants must possess an ability to pursue “excellence” and “do the right thing,” as Capital One takes pride in encouraging associates to think independently in a collaborative setting and to present creative ideas.

For more information about this program, contact UD Career Services. Applications must be completed by April 1.
