10:33 a.m., Jan. 11, 2016--The University of Delaware Office of Development and Alumni Relations invites the University’s colleges, departments and affinity groups to participate in Alumni Weekend 2016, which will be held June 3-5.
The weekend is a wonderful way to reconnect with the thousands of alumni who return to campus each year, a representative of the office said.

Reviresco June run
Alumni Weekend, now in its eighth year, is a tradition that is dramatically growing in popularity and in size, attracting more than 6,000 alumni and their families in 2015, up from 1,700 in 2008.
Held on the first weekend after Commencement on the Newark campus, Alumni Weekend provides opportunities for alumni, faculty and friends to reunite on campus, witness the University’s remarkable growth and advancements, and celebrate the myriad qualities that make UD unique.
All campus groups are encouraged to host reunions with alumni, club members, Greek groups, teammates, dormitory floors, etc.
“Big or small, on campus or off, reunions are a fun way to gather with college friends, network, reminisce, and revive Blue Hen spirit. Get inspired by visiting the 2015 UD Alumni Weekend schedule page,” the representative said.
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations is available to assist colleges, departments, affinity groups, registered student organization (RSO) alumni associations and other UD groups in planning and promoting their Alumni Weekend events.
