Campus Recreation offers New Year, New You fitness program
8:41 a.m., Dec. 18, 2015--As the New Year approaches, people everywhere start making fitness resolutions for themselves.
Many start out strong, but soon find it can be hard to maintain their initial enthusiasm as the year continues. Others struggle to ever get started, claiming “I don’t have the time” or “I don’t know how to use the machines.”

For those who are serious about making changes to their workout routines and accomplishing their fitness resolutions, hiring a personal trainer can be extremely beneficial, according to a representative of University of Delaware Campus Recreation.
UD Campus Recreation’s trainers will create a custom workout routine designed specifically to help people meet their goals. The trainers will ensure that those who take advantage of their services are performing the exercises correctly.
“They will keep you motivated, hold you accountable, and measure your progress,” the representative said.
To encourage people to get moving on their fitness journeys in 2016, UD Campus Recreation will be offering its popular “New Year, New You” package again.
With this package, participants receive two 30-minute sessions each week for four weeks with a nationally certified personal trainer and one baseline fitness assessment. The trainer will be with them during the entire workout, making sure they understand and learn how to properly perform the exercises.
The offer is valid Jan. 4-Feb. 5, but participants who finish before Jan. 30 will receive a $25 discount on a future five or 10 session package. The package is $120 and can be purchased online by UD students and staff members at this website.
