University Museums offers behind-the-scenes tour of Inuit Collection
8:15 a.m., April 18, 2016--The University Museums at the University of Delaware will host a behind-the-scenes tour of the Inuit Collection from 3-4 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, in 201 Old College.
The University Museums holdings have a rich cross-section of the Inuit arts of Alaska (Yup’ik) and Nunavut (Arctic Circle). The intimate behind-the-scenes tours will feature “up close and personal” views and narratives of drawings, carvings, and artifacts of these Native American peoples.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
June 6-9: Food and culture series
Participants will be provided an overview of these cultures as manifested in these art forms and utilitarian artifacts. Each participant will receive a complimentary copy of the Land of Ice, Hearts of Fire catalog.
Pre-registration is required and groups are limited to 15 adult participants. The event will be hosted by Ivan Henderson, curator of education, and Jan Gardner Broske, of University Museums.
