UD Women's Caucus to hold two fall general meetings
1:34 p.m., Sept. 4, 2014--This fall semester, the University of Delaware Women’s Caucus will host two general meetings, one with a faculty focus and one with a staff focus.
All women who work at UD are invited to attend, both if interested. The open meetings will have special guest speakers and the Women’s Caucus board will present on various issues such as child care, maternity leave and priorities for the upcoming year, and invite suggestions and feedback from all who attend. The faculty general meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 27, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at 44 Kent Way. Click here to see a map. Both Matt Kinservik, vice provost for faculty affairs, and Carol Henderson, vice provost for diversity, will be present to talk about their new roles in the Office of the Provost. Light refreshments will be served.
The staff general meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30, from noon-1 p.m. and representatives from Human Resources will review the staff performance appraisal system and be on hand for a question and answer portion. The meeting location is at the Office of Development and Alumni Relations main meeting room on the third floor of the new bookstore. The address is 83 East Main Street and be sure to use the elevator entrance marked as “Development and Alumni Relations” behind Grassroots. Click here to see a map.

The mission of the Women’s Caucus is to advocate for positive change on issues of concern to women at the University of Delaware.
