Library offers 'Introduction to Studio Recording' multimedia workshop

9:43 a.m., Sept. 22, 2014--The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop on studio recording techniques on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 8.

The workshop will cover all the basics of using the studios, equipment and software at the Student Multimedia Design Center to record, mix and master an audio project. Participants will have the opportunity to work hands-on with Apple’s GarageBand.

The workshop will be offered from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Room B of the Student Multimedia Design Center on the lower level of the Morris Library.

Presenters will be Nico Carver, assistant librarian, and Hannah Lee, senior assistant librarian, both in the Student Multimedia Design Center.

This workshop is available at no charge and is open to University of Delaware faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Online registration is available.
