The ultimate goal of the SHC is to unify the University community by embracing past traditions while promoting Blue Hen spirit. The group plans and organizes events and activities for Homecoming week.
In addition to traditional events like the Pep Rally and the Homecoming King and Queen Court, the SHC has also offered activities like the Student Banner Competition, UD’s Amazing Race and the First Down Student Tailgate.
Interviews with prospective committee members will be held the week of Feb. 23. Those selected to serve on the committee will be notified on or before March 2.
The SHC is advised by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations and collaborates with campus partners to offer a variety of events to make Homecoming memorable for the entire Blue Hen community.
