Galloway TEDMED talk on mobility, independence to be live streamed

9:24 a.m., Aug. 27, 2014--University of Delaware professor Cole Galloway has been selected to join 75 other internationally recognized thought leaders at TEDMED, a global community dedicated to unlocking imagination in service of health and medicine.
The community is invited to join the College of Health Sciences in the Health Sciences Atrium at the Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus for live streaming of Galloway’s talk about mobility and independence.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about the GoBabyGo project, which has impacted kids and their families across the globe through research, workshops, and grassroots community efforts.
- See a demonstration of racecar modification in the Pediatric Mobility and Design Lab.
- Watch the GoBabyGo Café, with its unique body-weight support system, in action.
- Sample ice cream from GoBabyGo partner UDairy Creamery at the Moo Mobile.
Guests are asked to arrive promptly at 4:30 to be seated for the live talk, which begins at 4:50. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited, so please RSVP if you plan to attend. Plenty of free parking is available.
