They will speak about the collaboration that produced the research, poetry, choreography and compositions that inform the choreographic suite, All My Relations.
Green's 1998 series of paintings about the life of David Drake, also known as Dave the Potter, served as an important inspiration for this collaboration.
Video and live performance will be a part of the symposium.

The lecture memorializes UD benefactor Paul R. Jones, who donated a large number of works by African American artists to the University in 2001. Some of those works are on view through June 28 in the “FreshPAINT: African American Art at UD” exhibition in the Mechanical Hall Gallery.
