April 7: Serafin String Quartet
Serafin String Quartet to perform at Roselle Center for the Arts
9:29 a.m., April 4, 2014--The Serafin String Quartet will perform at 8 p.m., Monday, April 7, in the Gore Recital Hall of the University of Delaware’s Roselle Center for the Arts.
UD’s quartet-in-residence will perform a program that includes Ravel's effervescent Introduction and Allegro, Schumann's beloved Piano Quintet in Eb, Op. 44 Major, and Debussy's String Quartet in g minor, Op. 10.

The Serafin String Quartet will be joined by UD Department of Music artist faculty members Eileen Grycky, flute; Christopher Nichols, clarinet; Julie Nishimura, piano; and Anne Sullivan, harp.
Tickets cost $15 adults, $10 for senior adults and $5 for students, payable by cash or check at the door.

The Serafin String Quartet also will perform in a UD faculty recital at 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, also in the Gore Recital Hall. The quartet will join Robert Brandt, baritone, and Nishimura.
The program will include works by Faure and Ravel. Tickets cost $15 adults, $10 for senior adults and $5 for students, payable by cash or check at the door.
