Procurement Services announces new contract with W.B. Mason
1:14 p.m., Sept. 12, 2012--University of Delaware Procurement Services has announced a new contract with W.B. Mason, now the University’s preferred supplier for office products.
The W.B. Mason preferred supplier discount agreement is the result of a strategic sourcing initiative intended to leverage the University’s buying power. It covers a vast array of products and services, offers free delivery, and it includes a customized website for our UD campus users, now accessible via Blue Hen Market.

In order to ensure a smooth transition to the W.B. Mason ecommerce platform, training classes will be held to demonstrate the website features and walk employees through the ordering process. W.B. Mason representatives will be in attendance to answer any questions attendees may have.
Sessions will be held in Room 130 of the General Services Building at 222 South Chapel Street. The sessions are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 17, Friday, Sept. 21, and Tuesday, Sept. 25. Each session will run every half hour from 1:30-4 p.m.
There will be a class for the southern campuses on Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Carvel Research Education Center in Georgetown. Sessions will run every half hour from 10 a.m.-noon and from 1- 3 p.m.
Users can set up their accounts themselves or have it done for them at one of the training sessions. Anyone already ordering office supplies from the OfficeMax site will receive an email with a username and temporary password from W.B. Mason. New users can click on the W.B. Mason link at Blue Hen Market to set up a new account.
