Eighth annual UD Catering Client Appreciation event held
11:36 a.m., Sept. 17, 2012--The eighth annual University of Delaware Catering Client Appreciation event was held Tuesday, Sept. 11, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center.
This year’s event highlighted tailgating packages, seasonal offerings and student menu items as well as custom hors d’oeuvres.

“We host the client appreciation event to show the UD community that we value their business and partnership,” said Mike Buck, catering director with Dining Services.
An estimated 300 UD community members were treated to complimentary food and beverages and introduced to something brand new -- a customer loyalty program that offers all UD faculty, staff and students various discounts on catering orders.
Buck said catering is excited about this program, in which:
- All UD faculty and staff will receive a 5 percent discount on catering orders delivered to their office;
- UD students will receive a 15 percent discount on catering orders delivered to any on-campus location; and
- UD faculty, staff or students that place five catering orders during the semester (valued at $100 or more) will receive a $100 credit toward their sixth order.
