Alex Thomas to headline CPAB Homecoming comedy show
9:02 a.m., Oct. 3, 2012--Comedian Alex Thomas will be featured in the annual Homecoming comedy show sponsored by the University of Delaware’s Cultural Programming Advisory Board at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, in Mitchell Hall. Also appearing will be Benji Brown and B-Phlat.
Born in Los Angeles, Thomas got his big break while performing at the Laugh Factory. Actor Will Smith saw his act and hired him to write for the hit television show The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Thomas has starred in comedy specials on Showtime and BET and appeared on The Jamie Foxx Show.
For UD students, tickets cost $5 in advance or $10 at the door the evening of the performance. Advance tickets are available through the UD box offices or Ticketmaster. University students must have a UD ID, with a limit of two tickets per UD ID.
For members of the general public, tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
