Cultural Programming Advisory Board spring concert features Kendrick Lamar

8:50 a.m., March 20, 2013--The University of Delaware Cultural Programming Advisory Board has announced that its 2013 spring concert will feature hip-hop recording artist Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar will perform at 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 29, in UD’s Bob Carpenter Center. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for UD students cost $23 and will go on sale April 3 at the box offices of the Trabant University Center and the Bob Carpenter Center. There is a limit of three tickets per UD ID.
On Monday, April 15, tickets for non-UD students -- at $30 each -- will go on sale through Ticketmaster and at the UD box offices.

Lamar, who was born in Compton, Calif., was named the “hottest MC in the game” by MTV earlier this year. He has recorded three albums, Overly Dedicated, Section.80 and 2012’s good kid, m.A.A.d city.
