UD a cappella group makes the cut on 'The Sing-Off' premiere
9:22 a.m., Sept. 27, 2011--The Deltones, part of the University of Delaware's active a cappella scene, remain on NBC's The Sing-Off following the competition that aired Monday night.
Performing in the second half of the two-part premiere of The Sing-Off, the Deltones performed a heartfelt rendition of "Feels Like Home" by Randy Newman.

The Deltones were one of two groups that had to await word on their fate as the show neared its conclusion, ultimately being retained over Soul'd Out from Wilsonville (Ore.) High School to continue on the program.
The Sing-Off airs at 8 p.m., Mondays, on NBC. The winning group will receive $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music.

HGTV's All American Handyman
Also still in the running on a television competition is UD alumnus Andy Panko, who appears on HGTV's All American Handyman program.
Contestants must showcase their abilities in a variety of home repair challenges.
All American Handyman airs Sundays at 9 p.m., and fans can vote for their favorite contestant through Oct. 12.
