June 29: Choral concert
CMS Summer Camp Concert Series opens at Loudis Recital Hall
8:04 a.m., June 28, 2012--The University of Delaware Community Music School will offer concerts showcasing the work of students attending its various camps this summer.
The opening concert, featuring students in the children's and high school choral camps, will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, June 29, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.

The concert is free and open to the public.
Additional concerts are scheduled:
• 7 p.m., Friday, July 13, featuring students in the wind ensemble camp, in the Puglisi Orchestra Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts.
• 7 p.m., Friday, July 20, featuring students in the middle school band camp, also in the Puglisi Orchestra Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts.
About summer camps
Every summer, the UD Community Music School has offered specialty camps for students in grades 1-12.
At the camps, the children have an opportunity to study with local music professionals and UD Department of Music faculty.
The camps include wind ensemble, middle school band, children’s choral, high school choral and jazz for various ages.
At the end of week, the Community Music School holds concerts to showcase the students’ work.
