Spring 2012 Dean's List posted online

2:22 p.m., June 19, 2012--A list of students who made the University of Delaware's Dean's List for the 2012 spring semester is now posted online. 

Named to the Dean's List are full-time students with grade point averages of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester, with no temporary grades as of June 1. The list is searchable by last name, ZIP code, college and major, and online records are searchable back to 2010.

National Medal of Science

President Barack Obama recently presented the National Medal of Science to University of Delaware alumnus Rakesh Jain.

Warren Award

Rosalind Johnson, assistant dean for student success in the NUCLEUS Program in UD's College of Arts and Sciences, was presented the John Warren Excellence in Leadership and Service Award during a May 26 ceremony.

UD’s Office of Communications and Marketing will be using readMedia’s “Hometown Newsmaker” service to notify newspapers in each student’s hometown of this achievement. 

The names of students who have placed FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) restrictions on their student records, including the release of information and grades, are excluded. Students who have been named to Dean’s List and wish to lift their FERPA restrictions can do so through UDSIS and change their privacy settings.
