Free Army Blues concert to cap daylong UD Jazz Festival
2:09 p.m., April 16, 2012--The U.S. Army Blues will perform a free concert at 7 p.m., Friday, April 20, in Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.
The concert will cap a daylong UD Jazz Festival.

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
The Army Blues, part of the U.S. Army Band Pershing's Own, is the premier jazz ensemble of the U.S. Army.
Comprised of exceptional jazz musicians from across the nation, the Army Blues aims to preserve the tradition of jazz as a unique American art form through concerts and educational outreach.
