With the help of his family and a few friends, he built an Eagles-themed vehicle using a shuttle bus purchased from the University of Delaware. The bus was featured on a broadcast prior to the game at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, Sept. 12.

This is not Quirk's first experience in custom motor vehicle renovations.

“My dad, my two uncles, and about five of their friends bought an old 1976 RV and fixed it up into what we called the 'Eagles Cruizer.' Last year, we decided to upgrade by purchasing a used University of Delaware bus,” he said.

Since Quirk, an engineering technology major, and his fellow bus-builders are Eagles season ticketholders, they equipped it with everything needed at a tailgating party. It features a kitchen and a bar complete with wood floors, green leather coaches, and a custom-made Eagles table, as well as a restroom to avoid inconvenient game-day restroom lines.

The outside features Eagles decals and an awning that protects the bus's guests from the sun or rain.

Having the luxurious Eagles bus is a dramatic upgrade for Quirk, who “used to tailgate out of cars, SUVs, and trucks,” and he said it makes pregame events a new experience.

The Eagles bus, which made its first game-day trip this past Sunday, is sure to please both its guests as well as other Eagles fans every time it drives in for a visit.
