Following the existing staffing model in place from midnight until 2 a.m. the Morris Library will be staffed by Public Safety staff after 2 a.m. Library service desks will not be staffed.

As always, library electronic resources will be available 24/7.

“This change comes after a formal request by the Student Government Association to the library, and after careful coordination, planning and support of the University of Delaware Library, Public Safety and Supporting Services,” said Sandra K. Millard, assistant director for Library Public Services, University of Delaware Library.

UD Public Safety will provide staffing of the Morris Library during the late night period from May 18-25, extending their library staffing from 2 a.m. until 8 a.m. Supporting Services will extend the existing UD shuttle bus schedule that stops at the Morris Library to run until 7 a.m. when the regular daytime schedule begins.

The contact for additional information or questions about the extended Morris Library hours during final exams is Millard, who can be reached via email at [] or by telephone at 831-2231.
