8:38 a.m., Feb. 3, 2010----University of Delaware alumni change e-mail addresses, jobs and locations so often that it is hard to keep up with them. Knowing that, UD has contracted with Harris Connect to update contact information for all alumni around the world so that Blue Hens can keep up to date with alumni news and activities.
The UD Office of Alumni Relations is also partnering with Harris Connect to create a print directory for alumni. Titled University of Delaware: Blue Hen Connections, the directory will provide alumni a way to connect with fellow Blue Hens and engage with the entire UD community.
The publication will feature an introduction with full color pictures, prominent UD people and a history of the University. The publication will also include a section for photos and memories from graduates' days at UD.
Alumni are currently being contacted via postcards, e-mail messages and phone calls in an effort to update and confirm information that will be printed in the directory. In addition, Blue Hens are being given the opportunity to include a personal note and a photo to be included in the directory.
