• An upgrade license for Windows Vista Enterprise (including "downgrade" rights to Windows XP Professional), and,


• Licenses for Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 and Microsoft Office for Mac 2008.

These Microsoft product licenses allow the software to be installed on all University-owned computers. However, there is a "work-at-home" provision for installation on personal machines for work-related purposes only.

For all other Microsoft software, the Microsoft Select Volume Licensing Program gives University departments access to most Microsoft software titles at significant savings over retail pricing. Details of the program itself may be found on the Microsoft Academic Select License page.

Most of the popular Microsoft software titles are available for ordering on UDMart in the Software section of the product catalog. Products are for institutional use only and may not be acquired by individuals. However, for Microsoft Office only there is a provision for using a second copy of the product on either a home or portable computer. The University of Delaware has a purchasing agreement with Apple for academic pricing on most of their software products, as well as selected third-party products. To order products for institutional use only, follow the instructions below.

The University of Delaware's electronic purchasing mart, UDMart, provides point-and-click purchasing from their on-line catalog using your University Purchasing Card. Computer hardware, software, accessories and supplies are available for ordering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Click on the logo above to enter the UDMart secure site or click here. Computer peripherals & accessories are available through the Computer Department of the University Bookstore located in the Perkins Student Center on Academy Street on the Newark Campus. The most popular accessory and supply items are kept in inventory; however, items not carried in inventory can be special ordered.
