Nora Kennedy has been the Conservator of Photographs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art since 1990. In 1999 she was named Sherman Fairchild Conservator of Photographs. She is Adjunct Professor in Conservation at the Conservation Center of the IFA at New York University. Kennedy received her M.S. in conservation from WUDPAC in 1986. She established a private photograph conservation concern with Peter Mustardo, The Better Image, which continues to prosper. She has worked at the CCAHA in Philadelphia and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, and was a Fellow at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Kennedy is an active AIC member and currently serves as Chair of the Education and Training Committee. She has lectured and taught extensively within the United States and abroad. |
